  2. 1 cup Heavy cream
  3. 6 tbsp Shredded cheese
  4. 1 tsp Black pepper Powder
  5. 1 tbsp All purpose flour
  6. As per taste - Salt
  7. 1 tbsp Butter
  8. 4 Medium sized potatoes (Peeled & very thin sliced)

Instructions to make to make Potato Au Gratin

  1. Preheat the microwave oven to 200℃.
  2. Put the fry pan on gas and pour liquid milk.
  3. When milk becomes thick, add heavy cream, flour, salt, black pepper powder.
  4. Turn the gas off.
  5. Mix salt, black pepper powder, butter with the sliced potatoes.
  6. Grease the baking dish with butter.
  7. Arrange some of the potato slices, in a single layer on the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  8. Sprinkle 3 tbsp of the cheese over the potatoes and pour the cream mixture over top.
  9. Repeat with the remaining potatoes, cream mixture, cheese, forming 2 layers.
  10. Place in the oven and bake for about 40 mins or until the potatoes are tender.
  11. Let the dish settle and cool it before serve.
